30+
YEARS IN BUSINESS
Our Story
Family-Owned Commitment, Decades of Local Expertise
The Hayes family’s dedication to quality lawn care began over three decades ago. With deep roots in the Bloomington area, Elite Turf operates alongside our sister company, Knob Hill Nursery and Landscaping, creating a network of experience and knowledge unmatched by larger franchises. Our approach is personal. Billy and Brennan Hayes are involved in every project, ensuring that clients benefit from hands-on expertise at all stages. This commitment builds lasting relationships and sets us apart from national competitors who often struggle with high staff turnover and lack of accountability. We understand the unique challenges of Midwest lawns, from invasive crabgrass in spring to drought stress in summer, and our methods have been proven effective in neighborhoods from Founders’ Grove to Eagle Crest and expanding into Decatur.

Our satisfaction promise sets us apart: if you are not completely satisfied with your grub or weed control, we provide free re-applications or repairs at no cost. We are fully insured, bringing clients complete peace of mind.
